Hello. My name is Lai and I’m from the Philippines. I have over four years of experience as a History teacher and over five years as an ESL teacher. I am History major and a licenced teacher. I am presently finishing my graduate studies on Early Childhood Education. In the past, I have published a book on test preparation for the Licensure Examination for Teachers. As an ESL teacher, I always make sure to create a fun learning environment for the students thus reducing stress and difficulties and eventually develop confidence and the proper skills on how communicate effectively. I follow a holistic approach in teaching which focuses on everything the learner needs to know to communicate effectively at the same time integrating the lessons to the areas of their interest for easy understanding. My students tell me I’m funny and very imaginative and they like the lessons I prepare for them which is tailored fit for their needs and interest.
